My English class

Hello, how are youuuuuuuuu? I am fine, the other day I was thinking about my experiences learning English in college. I am in my second year studying psychology and this semester I had to take an English class. It is a little weird because I do not think I have learned a lot about the language because the way that the teacher taught us was a little bit messy and we didn’t receive a proper feedback in our evaluations, so I do not know if I made a mistake or if I made a progress during this class. But one of the things that I found interesting was that we had to write blogs, in which we wrote about subjects that we like or think. Although this is not really helpful because, like I said before, we did not receive a proper feedback from our teacher and when we wanted to contact with him, we didn’t have any answers.
Personally, I think I have a lot of things to improve and one of them would be my pronunciation because is hard for me to speak in English, more than reading or writing. One of the ways that I think could help me would be to speak with other people that talk in English or reading out loud some books in that language. Outside the English class I use this language often because I see series and read mangas in English. I also listen a lot of music, but I use to focus more on the melody, so I don’t really count that. Maybe in the future I would use English to relate with others, but I don’t really know. Have a nice week, bye.

Traveling... to the future

Hi, again! Today I am going to talk about traveling to the future. I know is a little bit weird but, it is a funny question and if I had to choose where or when I would like to travel in the future, I think I would choose a future where, for some reason, all the industries are destroyed and, for other unknown reason, I had the chance to plant native trees. But where? Is there a specific place in the world? Yes, the place is Chile, the country where I was born.

I do not know if it would take to travel a lot of years in the future or a few, but I would love to have the chance to reestablish the environment planting trees and making the forests reborn respecting their biodiversity.

I don’t know if I would like to stay there forever, if my family and friendas are dead It would be so sad, but if I leave, I don’t know what could happen with the forests, and who would protect them and fight for them?

The only thing that I know is that I would like to see the biodiversity od the forest again, the Earth healing their wounds. Of course, there will be scars after all the damage that the human has made but I like to think that there is hope for nature to reborn.

Thanks for reading, have a great week.

My future job

Hi again, today I am going to talk about my future job.

First, I got to say that I’m studying psychology so my future job will be something related to that. I imagine myself working in a CESFAM (It a family health center) or in a public hospital. Maybe I will work in a little office with a small desk and uncomfortable chairs.

I know that it doesn’t sound like the perfect job and It’s highly probably I will have a low salary, but I love the idea of helping people with their mental health. Also, now I live in the city, but I’m planning to go to live in south of Chile once I graduate, after that I don’t plan in moving because of work.

Besides that, I would like to take a major related to domestic violence and how poverty affect mental health. Also, I would like to focus on teenagers and young adults. I think it’s because I watched how violence and poverty have affected young people throughout my life.

There is another thing that I would like to do, but I don’t know if it counts like a job, because It wouldn’t be paid. This thing is to create or participle in a foundation that promotes mental health on
adolescence, especially on those affected by poverty.

💖 Well, now you know a little more about me, thanks for reading, see you next time 💖

My beautiful cat

Hellooooo, I'm back and today you will meet Silvestre. He is a hairy black and white cat, with a big whiskers and beautiful green eyes. He is a lazy cat that loves to sleep in the windows, but when he is awake, he likes to play a lot.

I still remember the day that he came to my life. It was in December; he was trapped behind the wall of my house and it took us like three days just to get him out. He was so tiny, dirty, and sick, that I thought he may die that day. But I took him to the vet and with medicines and a lot of love he got better.

It was a problem when I decided to keep him, because my mom hate cats, she is even scared of them, so she didn’t want the cat at first. Now she tolerates him, but my cat is not his favorite pet. My dada was fine with the idea, so we just kept the cat.

I just can’t believe it’s been five years since we meet each other because we went through a lot together, good memories and some bad too. When I’m having a bad day, he always come to me and make my day better.

In my moments of loneliness and sadness he is the one that makes me feel good and calm. I don’t know what my life would have been without him, and I don’t want to find out either.

💖Thank you so much for reading, see youuuuuuuuuu💖

The best concert EVER!!!

Hi! I woke up today and I just wanted to share something that I remembered, one of the best concerts in my life! It was in 2015, I was 16 years old that time, and this concert took place in Movistar Arena, located in Parque O’Higgins, Santigo.

The band that I went to see was Muse. A British group formed by Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard, and Christopher Wolstenholme. Muse mostly plays alternative rock, although it depends on the album.

I remember that there were a lot of people that were exited, and when we entered to Movistar Arena, I was so close to the stage that I even saw how blue were the eyes of Matt Bellamy. The sound was too great, and the voice of the vocalist were majestic. Everyone was screaming and jumping, having a very good time with the music.

Something fun about that day is that I had to go to the school, so my mom told me to go to the school and later my dad would take me early. So, I did that and when I was going in the bus, I thought there were going to be many people before me, but, gladly, I was wrong and I were so close to them.

Even today I can feel the excitement and the joy that I had that day

In other words that were magical, and all the experience was majestic.

💖That's all I have to say... for today. Have a nice week 💖

A country I would like to visit

Oslo, Norway

As it says in my bio I'm from South America where the corrumption and desforestation are ruining the natural environment. So, naturally, once in a while I just want to wake up an see the mountains, rivers and some goats out there. So, putting the jokes aside, I really enjoy nature and I love love love winter, so Norway seems to be the best option for me.

But where is Norway? This country is in the northem Europe, next to Sweeden. Its capital is Oslo but there are other cities that are known because of its beauty like Bergen and Tromso.

But why do I want to visit Norway? Easy, because of the landscape.

In Oslo you can have all the urban experience without the smog, besides this city has a lot of museum you can visit, and It is close to a river! Also, It has a lot of green areas for you to enjoy.

Bergen, Norway

As Oslo, Bergen is a big city, but the difference is that It's more rural and You can see how the new buildings and the old ones mix together to create a place thats seems magical. There are a lot of small villages around to visit and a lot of museum and restaurants to eat too!!!

Tromso, Norway
And finally but not least Tromso. This place is a magical one, because in winter you can see the northen lights, the most majestic event that nature can give us. And, in summer, the days seems to be eternal with the midnight sun.

But well, I just can keep going and going, those were just a little bit of the reasons that I would like to visit Norway some day. I don't know if I would like to live there, but I´m sure that I will visit this cities sometime. What countries would you like to visit? Did you know about Norway?

💖 Thanks so much for reading, see you next time 💖
